Rotorua

I have seen so much geography I am totally exhausted! First it was Cathedral Cove yesterday and now today we had a walk along the gold mining caves. Felt a lot like Indianna Jones walking along the swing bridge and going through the pitch black tunnels.

Then later when we hit Rotorua, me and some of the other girls had a walk around the geo thermal park. It was really fascinating! There were mud pools that reminded me of the stink bog in Labyrinth with the sound that they made. Very funny.

Went to Matamata, which is (on the outskirts is a farm) where Hobbiton was filmed. Couldn’t get to the actual site (costs too much and I hear it’s a bit of a rip off) so I got a picture next to Gollom and a sign. Happy days!

Tonight we are all going to a Maori concert with tradition Hangi feast. Pick up is in an hour so I must be ready!

Looked at my emails earlier, isn’t it so frustrating when you don’t get the emails you want. I have applied for some more jobs and I still have not got yay or nay.

Taupo tomorrow and I should be in Wellington by 25th.
